Description

This 30th Anniversary Blend is an updated version of a classic tea blend that John Harney first offered back in 1983, Ceylon & India.  However, we start with the elevated version of Ceylon & India, Brigitte's Blend. It features silvery tips and golden Assam, accented by Chinese Silver Needles and Assam Golden Tips. Besides making the blend extra special, these teas give the blend added sweetness and elegance. Anniversary Blend is an exceptional tea the perfect cup to mark a momentous occasion.

 Details: We created this this tea in 2008, to honor John Harney and his vision to make great teas an everyday luxury. It is based upon one of his favorite teas; the traditional blend of Ceylon & India. To add pomp, there are silver tips and golden tips. It has become a favorite amongst some of our most knowledgeable customers.
 Dry Leaves: This blend is mostly dark leaves accented by silver and golden tips.
 Liquor: The dark brown liquor is lightened by the silver and golden tips.
 Aroma: There are muted notes of honey, and roasted malt.
 Flavors: There are wonderful BLT (British Legacy Tea) flavours of honey, light molasses and citrus. The sweetness from both the silver and golden tips brings a special sweetness to make this an unusual tea.
 Caffeine Level:
 Body: Light-bodied. It is lighter most black tea blends. The Ceylon & India base is brightened by the two different tippy teas.
