Description

This roasted buckwheat tea is a traditional Japanese specialty that is prepared as you would an herbal tisane. Soba-cha is naturally caffeine free, with a delightful toasty flavour and nutty undertones. Buckwheat is an healthy gluten-free cereal that is regularly consumed as an herbal tea in Japan. It has detoxifying properties, is  rich in flavonoid (antioxidant) and also has a high magnesium level, that can help to relax the musculature. This Soba tea can also be eaten and cooked with!

 Details: Takashimaya was the best tea shop in New York for many years. They did a great job with teas from Japan and around the world (which we supplied). One of Brigitte Harney's favorite drinks was Soba, so when we found a good source, we bought it.
 Feuilles : Small brown grains.
 Liqueur : The liquor of this herbal is a light yellow.
 Arôme : This traditional Japanese herbal has a very toasty aroma.
 Flaveurs : Similar to the aroma, this caffeine-free herbal tastes very toasty, with some nutty undertones.
